Texas abstract & GLO survey grid
Texas never adopted the PLSS. Instead it uses the General Land Office (GLO) survey grid, identifying parcels by abstract number and original survey, with a separate block/section style in the Panhandle.
Two Texas styles
Abstract-name style: 'A-123, John Smith Survey, Harris County'. Panhandle block/section style: 'Sec 18, Blk M-23, Lubbock County'. The decoder recognises both; full decoding is coming soon.
Frequently asked questions
